BSF C-Face Adaptors are the most common adaptors for horizontal and vertical installations.  These adaptors are designed to accomodate NEMA C face motors and virtually any other component (pump, hydraulic motor, gearbox, actuator, etc.).

  • BSF HORIZONTAL SOUND REDUCTION - This style adaptor includes BSF's S.A.B. (Sound Absorbing Barrier) Material installed inside the housing for sound / vibration reduction. SAB material is 1-1/2" thick acoustical foam layers, which include a barrier layer of solid composite. The barrier reduces sound emission by absorbing the sound inside the adaptor and converting it to heat before it gets out through the adaptor wall. The HQ design can be utilized with any component combination due to BSF's design versatility.
  • BSF VERTICAL SOUND REDUCTION - This Vertical Style A adaptor includes a dampening gasket and bushings. The dampening gasket is used in combination with the bushings to reduce vibration and sound transmitted from a vertical assembly to the connecting structures by eliminated metal to metal vibration transmission paths and by reducing the natural frequency of vibration of the system. The bushings are specially designed to isolate the bolts mounting to the reservoir.
  • PVQ (Pump-end Vertical Quiet) Adaptor - This Vertical Style D adaptor includes a dampening gasket and bushing as described above in the VDK description. It can also be used in conjunction with BSF's S.A.B. material described above in the HQ description.
  • Dampening Rings - BSF offers two styles of dampening rings: Style D (designed for pump ends) and Style DT / DTV (designed for motor ends and vertical applications). The D Style rings are vulcanized and fail safe. They offer excellent resistance to hydraulic oil and have excellent dampening properties. The Style DT / DTV rings reduce noise between drive unit and tank by means of rubber flexible separation. Primarily both styles of dampening rings are designed to be used with metric components, however, BSF has the versatility to design custom housings that in many cases will mount the D, DT or DTV rings to NEMA, SAE or other special component flanges.
