Goal: Design a BSF Adaptor that would accommodate an Omron proximity switch in order to measure the RPM’s on a GearTek Hydraulic Motor.

Factors: In order to do this, we needed to design a special shaft extension with a setscrew attached to it in order to trigger the proximity switch.

How we did it: We designed our BSF Adaptor with a tapped hole on a flat surface on the outside of the pipe to accommodate the proximity switch, which has an M12 thread on it.
