Goal: Create a kitted assembly that adapts a specific pump to one of two possible motors.

Factors: Come up with a kitted solution for an application that has the possibility of utilizing either a NEMA or an IEC motor allowing the end user to use the components required for their application and to do so in a means reasonably priced, even if not using all parts of the kit.

How we did it: We made a dual mounting pattern on the motor end, and designed a plate that converts the pilot sizes accordingly. This allows for easy setup and minimizes additional work. This kit can be offered with or without couplings at the request of the customer. The simplicity and ease of the design lends to a robust solution that works either way.
