Goal: Replace a Hydraulic Motor with an Electric Motor driving a Gearbox.

Factors: Both the conveyor and gearbox required a male keyed shaft and have threaded mounting holes.

How we did it: Designed an assembly with a custom Adaptor and Adaptor Plate with a double ended male keyed shaft extension. The Adaptor provides a mounting flange for the conveyor and the Adaptor Plate provides a mounting flange for the gearbox. Both mounting flanges can then mount together with easily accessible mounting screws. The custom Shaft Extension is designed to limit floating for optimal engagement on both ends.
