Goals: The BSF Adaptor needed to be mounted to the tank top or dampening ring before the motor was mounted to the Adaptor. Keeping the Adaptor motor mounting flange O.D. minimal for limited space.

Factors: The mounting holes for mounting the Adaptor to the tank top or dampening ring needed to be counterbored for using socket head cap screws to allow for motor to mount to the Adaptor.

Notes:  

·        This style vertical mount works well for Nema D flange motors without dampening rings.

·        This design is typically used for IEC metric motors when dampening rings are used.

·        BSF can make special designs for most motors with or without using a dampening ring

·        Dampening rings can have long lead times
